These are paid by the poor, the middle class, but NOT by the rich. (The rich hit the CAP and don't pay a proportionate amount.) It is a national (actually an International) disgrace. The SS CAP must be removed so that the rich pay their full share. In addition, it must apply to ALL income, not just earned income. The same unfair tax is all over Europe as well, at an even higher rate.
