re: so where will the blogs get their news from?
The rumors of MSM's demise are premature, like radio's predicted demise when TV became popular in the 50s. Sure some MSM outlets will shrink (some television news) but others (some newspapers) will rejuvenate. I think that there is synergy between the MSM news outlets and blogs. The successful MSM outlets will develop new ways to grow with this synergy and will improve their atrophying fact-checking capabilities because of blogs.
