Since you asked, I favor not only tightening the borders but sealing them to all illegal immigration. Employers who hire undocumented workers should be severly fined and multiple offenses should be cause for revocation of their business licenses.

Perhaps, eliminating undocumented workers would help restore Ricardo's balance of the agents in production to the point where the "free market" you are always touting could once again be a workable concept. Labor has been at the mercy of both capital and management for a long time now, and change would benefit the country and the economy.
