NiMH has higher energy to weight than lead-acid. It may be inferior in energy to weight compared to alkaline, but it is rechargable. I am not about to spend $25 each time I mow my lawn.

Are there any reasonably-priced NiMH 12 volt, 15 ampere*hour batteries available?
