Isn't it time scientists and space-fans
created their own political party?
Why do I ask?
Because of what you have pasted, R.L.
Thee was a political party run by cultists
and mystic craks called the "NATURAL LAW PARTY".
If that doesn't ring a bell, think "Transcendental Meditation cult",
whose followers believe in such things as levitation, mind over
matter, and other forms of cultic/mystic claptrap.
The adherents included the late George Harrison.
Hey!!...If such followers of that cultic/mystic/anomalist
rubbish could CREATE a registered POLITICAL PARTY, why
shouldn't LEGITIMATE SCIENTISTS [who are out of work; there must
be plenty of scientists out of work in their field] endeavor
to create a registered POLITICAL PARTY espousing
the benefits of science and space exploration to the general public?
EXAMPLE: You could call such a political party
the "SCIENCE & SPACE-TECHNOLOGY PARTY".
This will give scientists and space-fans the chance to mobilize
public support for SCIENCE RESEARCH and SPACE-TECHNOLOGY
through such a political party, and not only during elections.
If on the OFF-CHANCE such a political party elects a senator
or congressman it could through them introduce legislation benefiting SCIENCE EDUCATION, RESEARCH & BUDGETS.
It would be a chance for scientists to "exercise their political muscle"
and show who has the real political power in America [etc], scientists
or anomalists.

This brings up an interesting point.
