re: TigerDirect & their lousy rebate scam
Pretty much every rebate I've seen involves several weeks to a couple of months to get the check. This is more the rule than the exception.
I agree that there is something of "holding on to the money" involved, to get whatever they can from it. Kind of like the government squatting on your tax money until refund time.
