On the average college campus there is very little diversity of thought, a situation exacerbated by qualifying for tenure. Conformity of socio-political thought is the norm in universities. The typical top university has far over a 10:1 ratio of donations to the Democrats vs the Republicans. This, from orgs that self-servingly tout themselves as sources of free thinking. Riiiight.

We've seen how deadly the group think, conformist world view paradigm has lead to fiascos at tha liberal dominated MSM e.g. NYT, CBS and Newsweek. It's similar to worse in universities. Without some opposing viewpoints there is no opportunity for correcting flawed paradigms.
