Unlikely - the location of the older probes is not going to be know anywhere near accurately enough to target MGS to image them.

iirc - MO will have sailed straight past Mars at a low altitude, but past it all the same ( 150km or so ) as it was already targetted for MOI. It's not certain that it exploded - if it did then some debris will have burnt up on mars, and some sailed straight past into heliocentric orbit.
