Well, do you think George Bush wanted a Holy War?

Do you think as a born-again Christian he might take the notion that his "God" would protect us in the "end times" and that he had the religious conviction to bring about war in the Middle East?
And that muslims are inferior because of their faith?

That maybe he was sanctioned by his God to bring about death and destruction anywhere he wanted to? A lot of leaders in history were megalomaniacs driven by their beliefs (I mean, how else do you become a leader?) In some respects, these people exist in EVERY culture, and the Jihadists have their own leaders driven by their sense of righteousness sanctioned by their "god" and holy books.

With WMD circulating worldwide, why push the envelope?
They were all supposed to be "deterrents". Now our huge military industrial complex siphons off the monies of the hard working people to make unprecedented war by think tank conservatives who own large stock in oil, natural resources or the defense industry worldwide. Or they personally own "reconstruction" companies that allow no other bidder. War is BUSINESS.
This is a win-win situation and you have NO SAY in it. This madness, this culture of death, is extending into space and we are powerless to stop it.
