re: Preparing for Deep Impact presser
I posted here a while ago saying I received an e-mail from
the Chief Science Investigator for the Deep Impact spacecraft.
Maybe you missed it.
His e-mail hinted that indeed they were going to try and extend the mission to include another comet, Doug.
The Deep Impact spacecraft will, by hte laws of physics, make a
return flyby of the Earth on January, 2007.
