Sky & Telescope currently list Temple 1 at 10.3 Mag. Heavens above has it at 9.6 Mag. and Starry Night has it at 9.58.

Temple 1 is near Jupiter now which is -2.18 mag.

What they are looking for before and after the impact is a change in magnitude.

Hubbble and Spitzer images after the impact should be revealing.
