I wouldn't call it "intimate", since I tend to reserve that word for pleasurable experiences... but it's not unappropriate.
Yeah, I'm still stiff this morning from yesterday's clearing of debris after the straight-line-wind episode of Wednesday night (80+ mph, I learned later). Not even half done, either. We're in a typical June pattern of heat and humidity that the storms don't relieve -- because they bubble up from local instabilities, not ahead of a cold front -- and I'm not as spry as I once was, nor as resistant to fatigue, so I'm cautious about overwork in an outdoor steambath.
Anyway... about my post: Thanks. It's the poet in me, I guess -- and the "general synthesist" (to borrow a phrase from Asimov's Nightfall) -- plus, when it comes to gentle admonition to see alleged dichotomies as continuua, I have an excellent teacher.
