I'm just learning this wireless thing too.
Has anybody else encountered problems with interference? I work for a truck dealership and I routinely lose connections with the laptops that we use to run diagnostics on the trucks... Not completely sure if its coming from other wireless networks in the neighborhood, tools that put off static electricity, or overpowered CB radios driving by on the interstate...Changing the wireless channels has seemed to help, but I fear as more and more of the neighbors go wireless that the airwaves will get much more messy making it tougher to send quality data back and forth...
R.L. take your laptop on the road and you'll be suprised how many Open networks there are. Rest areas often have wireless networks available. Most good hotels have them. Even some McDonalds are making wireless connections available to their customers now!
We're all bathing in RF radiation!!!
