I saved myself a lot of grief when it came to putting the correct format for displaying a picture, or a link to another web site by making up and saving a WORD page with most of the formats. What I do is copy and paste the URL between the " " marks and type new text in place of >text< between the arrows.
Then copy and the entire line and paste it on the BBS post page. I don't have to remember how to type the format.
