I for one am sick of barely a day going past without the phrase....

"Leading scientists have discovered that eating more than XXX of YYY per day can dramatically increase the chance of getting ZZZ"

It's when you find that XXX is about 4 metric tons, and ZZZ is your 0.001% chance of contracting something increasing 0.0015% that you wonder how, why and where the money for such pointless research originates.
