I don't have any useful suggestions.

If I did, I would have participated in the moderation debate. My absence was a "vote" of acquiescence.

my advice is to give it a run, and see how it goes. If it goes wrong, plenty people will say so. Unfortunately, if it goes right, nobody will applaud! But you will know...
