how about maximum speed capacity for an engine?
With speed limits of 75 mph, I don't see why we need vehicles that can do 120. I'd support a design limitation that kept cars and trucks from going over 85-90 mph on pure safety grounds, but I suppose it might also decrease the engine size and improve mileage.
