Moderator's uniform
I think it's necessary to distinguish posts made by a moderator from posts made by a "civilian". Bowser's use of the phrase "an individual who also functions as a CE moderator" seems to be expressing a confusion over who we was interacting with. That's not good, because it'll lead to inhibitions and self-censorship in situations where normal interaction is appropriate.
My convention is to use my full name, sometimes appending ", Moderator". You might want to adopt the suffix form, which saves you from coming up with a complete alternate like "Moderator Bob".
