After all these years, I have finally seen Mercury
I finally saw Mercury, knowingly, for the first time. I say knowingly because I bet I have unknowingly seen it in my 26 years as an Amateur Astronomer.
I was surprised at how bright it was.
That makes the total of planets I have seen with my own eyes, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter. Saturn, and possibly Uranus. With a scope, I have seen all those, plus the four Galilean moons and Titan. I have also seen several asteroids and comets both unaided and aided.
Now I just need to bag Neptune.
