I agree!
Caught a matinee today.
Definitely the best Bat movie, by a long shot (and I liked the 4th one).
I'll hold out for the two Spiderman movies as being as good an adaptation of comic book superheros...
... but I hope this production crew and cast makes another one. Morgan Freeman can play a gadget-guy named "Fox" any time, a.f.a.i.c., and Michael Caine is a perfect Alfred.
Who d'you suppose they'll cast as The Joker?
A production note: am I mistaken, or did Gotham City include a collection of well-known buildings from many American cities? I could swear Wayne Co. headquarters was the New York Life building, and that Chicago's Old Water Tower was in another shot.
