First:
The vortical spin of an object is a side effect of coherency and velocity. All energy travels with a vortical motion and the more energy moved, the faster the observed rotation.
is complete gibberish, I had two choices: Delete it or Refute it, This time I chose the latter... next time I will probably choose the former... This is NOT a board to post your pseudoscience fantasies on...
Second:
The spinning aids in keeping a true trajectory in an atmosphere by reducing friction and therefore minimizes drift.
No... the reason for rifling is to give the bullet a large angular momentum, this gives it stability and keeps the bullet from tumbling no matter if there is an atmosphere or not... Try sitting on a motor cycle at rest and keeping it upright- not easy... once the wheels are spinning it is quite easy- in fact it takes an effort to bring the bike down... same principle... There are atmospheric effects but the main reason to give a bullet spin is to give it angular momentum to keep it stable in its orientation...
here is a brief tutorial: http://www.tamhigh.org/pubLibrary/teachers/lapp/PDF/sec7/angularmomentum.pdf
Increasing the rotation rate of an asteroid as it orbits the sun would not increase its orbit and slowing it would not decrease it.
HERE, finally, you are correct, but prior to this point you might as well have been talking about leprachauns and unicorns...

SDAI would you PLEASE take some physics classes before spouting off like this?
