I've been arguing the same point you are. We're dealing with techniques that basically, require time bombs and synchronized watches.
For that matter, once you get past the flying lessons, synchronizing the planning was the only real thing required for 9/11.
Remember, all of these attacks had the opportunities for many, many rehearsals.
