re: Seeing the Apollo landing sites with LRO
Not only could they find all the Apollo landing sites, they could find all the other moon Landers, like Surveyor, and Lunokhod, and the craters of the Rangers, and the 2 Surveyors that failed to land softly. Surveyor 4 was lost without a trace just as they fired the main retro rocket. Some engineers speculated that a com. cable came lose and the spacecraft actually landed but was never able to communicate to earth. If you could see it sitting there or a crater, perhaps we could solve the mystery.
