Apparently all it takes to turn a grown man's spine to mush is for one person to call him racist. IMO, those protesting groups like the Minuteman Project are agent provocateurs of the Mexican government.

Instead of developing a plan to deal with the wide scale poverty in their country, the Mexican government finds it easier to send their lower class North of the border. Why do anything to help them when they can just use the USA as a dumping ground for their social ills? It also doesn't hurt that many of these illegals end up sending back large sums of American dollars back South. It is my opinion that getting rid of their poor and creating a flow of hard currency back into their economy isn't their only motive for actively encouraging and helping the deluge of illegals. They are also seeding the SW with millions of 1st wave colonists, helping to speed up the day when they begin a war to take back the land lost in the 1840s. Our so-called leaders are too timid and cowardly to call Mexico on this fact and do nothing for fear of being called names. They'd rather watch this country fall into civil war than to crack down on the latter day slavers using cheap Mexican workers to boost their profit margins or to stand up to the Cinco de Mayo lobby.
