Our children and our childrens' children will be paying the price for American intransigence on the problem of global warming.

The scientific evidence is clear, compelling and unequivocal...human activities are causing the planet to warm at an astonish rate. The result is chaotic and dangerous weather, the loss of species and economic dislocation. The emerging tragedy is becoming more apparent and harder for industrial sychophants like George Bush to hide from.

The planet is in deep trouble. The sooner we recognize this and take substantive action to repair the damage we've caused, the better.

The problem with the Kyoto Protocol is that we've done nothing to make it work and done everything we can to scuttle it.
