The primary one is, when taking a position, the first thing one thinks about is "what side are Bush and the Republicans on?" Then take the other side.
This results in things like Democrats being upset about spending money on prescription drugs for the elderly, Democrats becoming advocates of fiscal responsiblity*, leftists weeping big tears over the CIA being threatened, and liberals finding themselves taking the same positions as some of the worst people to walk this planet.
You see, as someone once said, some things are true even if George W. Bush believes them.
Another symptom is the firm belief that Bush never really won an election, that the fix was in, the voting machines were hacked, and that the electorate was brainwashed. It doesn't take long for a person in the terminal stages to bring up either Florida or Ohio in a heated political argument.
*Anybody else remember what happened to the "balanced budget" amendments?
