Here's another one: We've seen what political ideas actually result in a very few rich and powerful people controlling a nation of "dirt poor." In the real world, not science fiction or the fevered brains of envy-racked "progressives."
You don't have the horsepower for this discussion. You don't take into account actual numbers, extensive turnover and mobility. Or false perceptions. For example, "this guy" in the cartoon is actually something like three million people. Only New York and Los Angeles contain more people.
If you make more than about $340,000 a year, you're in the top 1 percent. If your assets are greater than $8 million (house, stocks, a business, the works) you're there.
Are you going to duck the "solutions" question too? I have you on the record as being pretty ruthless when theorizing, so I'm sure you have ideas.

- Sigh.
- I don't recall chiding you about any of that. Well not in some years, maybe?
