I tend to avoid topics that already start out at "nuts."

We chewed this cud thoroughly back in the heyday when the "Occupy Movement" was being hailed as the vanguard of the Democratic Party, before it became obvious what they were.

Any point I would make here I made back then.

Spend some time at that "New Economics Institute" site. I did. This is the Occupy Movement with a budget. They are quite vague on solutions: new approach...evolutionary ideas...bold visions...embrace the transition...something different, something new...

Anything to avoid the inevitable end of that particular road.

It all boils down to the same thing. Somehow it isn't "fair" that some people have more than others, an unfair share of "America's wealth," as though the billions Bill Gates owns somehow came out of America's "stash" or out of my paycheck, instead of new created wealth that never existed before. And that somehow if some powerful leader takes it away from him, we'll all get a piece of the action.

Well, I've already got my piece of Microsoft's action. I'm typing on it. A computer with a power that would have cost me millions when I was in college. I've also got my piece of thousands of other innovations, inventions, products, processes, and ideas that were developed by a free market in this country.

I don't have to wait for the "trickle down." I'm soaking in it.
