Flame » in reply to "wealth redistribution" is the red herring

Ummm....okay.

Since the entire issue of "wealth inequality" rides on the completely false concept that there's a given pile of "wealth" laying around somewhere in Fort Knox or something and some people are getting more than their "share," and if wealth redistribution is not part of the solution, why the hell are we discussing this at all? Just because rich people generally just piss leftists off?

"Look! That guy has a Porsche, so that's why I don't have a new car!"

"Look, that guy has a mansion, which is why I'm living in a cheap apartment!"

Seriously?

Does anyone really think that wiping out the right-hand side of that chart would suddenly create a nice green chart that's flat all the way across with plenty of cash for all? That pushing that pointy green mountain down will somehow shove the left side up? If so, how do you do that without forced wealth redistribution coming into it?

Here's my take on it.

You don't have to be stumped.

It's not a real problem.

It never was.

It's a propaganda campaign to morally justify leftist goons looting the hell out of people who have money and passing it out to people who will finally give them the power they've been lusting after in this country for nearly a century.

There's a nice, fat herring for you. I recommend a lot of condiments.
