Try the constitutional process
For those faux concerned about a recess appointment, the solution would be an up or down vote by the Senate. As always, the whiners had it within their means to resolve the issue by Constitutional means. Thay chose not to do so and now have their panties atwist, yet again.
Me, I'm really glad to see Bolton appointed. Given the Food for Oil scandal in the UN, the UN's continued fiscal irresponsibility and the UN's ineptitude in Africa we need a strong representative. Bolton is that guy.
