Surely gold will never be cheap or free. Likely a gram of gold will purchase 50 years from now what it will purchase today. But the scammers are NOT touting the long-term value of stuff. Furthermore, most of the stuff (collectables & similar junk) that they scam has no long term value. They are touting the 100% return on investment in a year crap.
