B) Taya opened relations with Israel 6 years ago. You make it sound like it was last week.
C) There is no indication that the 17 generals who couped Taya are fundamental Islamists.

About the only point you have in your favour here is the assertion they released Al Qaeda affiliated prisoners.
Even the article you originally posted said it could be Taya was overreaching there........
