What's wrong with this solution for the space shuttle's 'foam drop-off problem'?
The solution is this: "Let the foam pieces fall off the the ET; just make sure the shuttle ascends
during the first three-four minutes of flight with the shuttle more-or-less on top of the ET, not the other
way around in its parabolic trajectory ascent.
If need be...the shuttle can slow roll onto its back, with the ET up, during the final four minutes
of ascent.
What's wrong with that suggestion?...And if its a good one, why not contact NASA about it [I'm too busy of late]?
