After a brief search on the internet I have found quite a few references on the topic explaining the importance of heat, some say that heat is required for the THC to be released others say that heat is required to oxidize the THC to make it psycho-active...
Most of these are stoner websites that do not provide references... I found no scentific literature on the topic- all I can say is that I knew someone that LITERALLY experimented with the drug (Researching THC's possible theraputic effects at John-Hopkins ) and he claimed the same thing... that most of the THC in the plant is not psycho-active until heated...
So, I could be wrong- if so I apologize to any stoners that I might have mislead. Since I would like to be able to get a security clearance in the future I will leave it to others to do the experimentation on this issue...
