Very predictable
There's a reason why the Sunnis ruled a secular Iraq with a bloody dictatorship. Our naive neocon president amusingly thought he could overcome eons of religious sectarianism. Iraq is precipitously close to a civil war. Our only means to avoid it is to give the fundamentalist what they want and back it up with American firepower. The amusing irony will not be lost on the Iranians or the other nations in the Middle East.
