Work smart: my vote is no.
If the movie Apollo 13 can be made to seem native on IMAX with post-processing, then think of what could be done with the presently available hardware. Between the Rovers, MGS, MEX, and soon MRO, it should be possible to make an impressive movie withoug flying IMAX film reel return missions. All that may be required would be some active cooperation from the hardware handlers.
