While it is not a vaccine, I am allergic to pennicillin... and certain vaccines should NOT be given to certain people... every time I get a flu shot I am asked if I have an allergy to eggs, I don't, but there is a logical scientifically valid reason for not giving that vaccine to those with that allergy.

The point I am trying to make is that there IS NO data that shows that vaccines that contain that particular mercury compound are harmful- quite the opposite, they save millions of lives!

Nevertheless the uneducated buy into the latest scare story and repeat it over and over... The fact is most childhood vaccines do NOT contain that compound any more- because of this silly epidemic of fear, they moved to other preservatives just to shut this nonsense up...

(Of course this change probably made the drugs a bit more expensive, and of course the fear mongers still act like all vaccines still have the 'evil' compound)

This is NOT a harmless delusion, some people take this nonsense seriously and make decisions based on it... If you let regurgitation of these lies stand without saying a thing then you let these lies gain creedence...
