The data from Deep Impact appears to indicate that comet nuclei may not be a threat to Earth afterall.

OK! The scientists working on the data successfully obtained from
the Deep Impact mission DID NOT suggest that comet nuclei are NO LONGER
a threat to Earth; that optimistic hypothesis is MINE.

Look! The Deep Impact mission data on Comet Tempel has revealed
that its interior density is roughly equivalent to that of a "snowbank composed of powder snow."
I read that a density as low as 0.25 was suggested for the nuclei.

That means?....I can't seen a comet nuclei, with such low density,
even a kilometer or so in diameter, posing much of a threat to Earth,
even on a collision course with our atmosphere.

Before you slay me over such a hypothesis, and hang me out to dry, EP Grondine,
I admit I could be wrong...but show me the figures to prove me wrong on this one!
