Hello,

I wonder if there are a variety of comet types, i.e. some made up of fine loose material like Tempel, and others made up of more solid material. Comets form under different conditions?

Based on the current data I agree with you, but I think we need to take a closer look at a few more comets before we can reasonably classify them as a non-threat.
