Its like Trying to prise an old Stanley shoulder plane from a carpenter, insisting that the new Lie Nelson is superior, Or worse: Allowing a 'Japanese hand tools only' Carpenter and a 'I don't give a rats ass as long as it does the job well' Carpenter to argue. Stand back and hide all the sharp point-ed things.
Tools of the trade are, tools of the trade- and everyone has their own style. In a way I think code-crafting is more like older manual trades than an engineering science.
