Well we learned from Katrina, got buses for the poor, started evacuations early, headed the warnings, prestaged relief supplies, put relief workers on standbye.

One minor detail. Someone forgot to keep the roads open. One way folks. It's a tried and true method. Don't wait until everyone's jammed up and out of gas.

I'm truly flabbergatsed. There is not a single item listed above that isn't an obvious issue of concern to anyone who's ever gone through 1 hurricane season on the coast. Most of them are also relevant to potential terrorist attacks. What in the Hell has homeland security been doing for 4 years?????!!!!!!!!!! We were supposed to be preparing for disasters effecting majotr cities with thousands of dead and millions in danger. What kind of emergency plan's have people been making? And I'm talking about all levels of government for the many mindless partisans out there.

Mark
