While Scott has not exactly been diplomatic about the way he's been putting it, the truth is that there is a heirarchy to these things, and in the coverage and commentary since August 30th, you would think that state and local government had no role at all, and that this was totally the fault of the Federal government in general, and Bush specifically.

For a good time, go back to that period on this board and read a few of the comments. If there is political "hacking" going on here and elsewhere, the Left started it.

Scott has, to be sure, run out to the other end of the teeter-totter. The truth is, as it often is, in the middle.

What is irritating me is that the truth coming out seems to make no impression on the myths that came out only hours after the hurricane left.
