It just occurred to me that the 21st century will be the conservative century. In the US, conservatives have a lock on the government and public opinion. In Europe, the conservatives are growing in strength with each passing day and will soon reform or break from the EU.
It's plain to see that consevatives are writing the history from 2000 on up and will be for some time into the future.
Is it possible that the internet has actually worked against liberals by fueling their already extreme positions? Is it simply the conservatives have been strengthened by the high visibility of these same extreme positions. Or is it even more simple than that? Is it simply conservatives are winning the idea war and the masses are finally seeing the liberal agenda for what it really is?
I put this on flame, simply to save the trouble of relocating it. Since I suspect it will be interpreted as a flame. Actually its just an observation.
What will happen when the Supreme Court takes on an even more right tilt?
What happens if Bush is replaced by another conservative?
What will happen now as Germany moves right again?
What will happen as France and Britain move right?
Where exactly will liberalism survive? It can't survive in the Middle East. It can't survive in India. It can't survive in China. It's historically incompatible with Japan.
Will "twentieth century style" liberalism survive even to 2020?
I wonder.
Conservative ideas are shaping the world
