It wasn't a mistake for Bush.

He has never been the far right fire breathing dragon that the leftists like to paint him as. He's always been a middle of the road conservative...A moderate if you will...Is it really suprising that he hasn't gone overboard in nominating a far right-winger for the highest court in the land?

This pick appears to fit right into the Bush mold.

But SHhhhhhhhh...Don't tell anyone but she's a born again Christian! A former Catholic...What, was the Catholic church to liberal for her? She's almost certainly pro-life. The Democrats must really be in a tissy behind closed doors...

In the end, the leftists and the far right will have to grin and bear this nominee. And that is probably as it should be.

If we could send more true conservatives to the Senate, then we could nominate and get Senate approval for more Conservative judges. That's something for true Conservatives everywhere to think about.

The Battle of the Courts doesn't begin or end with this nomination.
