Match GDP numbers and %GDP spending and China is roughly equal to US on a purchasing power basis. Luckily for US in real hard currency foreign exchange numbers China's spending is only about 20% of the US so external sourcing is a lot tougher for China. China is serious about becoming a leading world power again folks.
