Only found those asking your question on other boards.... NO answers were provided...

I found MANY references to STING, but they were not relavent- the phrase predates Sting...

I love etymology, I really cannot explain why- I honestly dont know... It just is something I am willing to spend time on as fun...

'Phrase-ology' isnt that different... I searched and found nothing but dead ends- usually ending with a misquote af shakespeare...

I cannot offer any more, sorry... I tried
