re: Taurids
Depends on the radiant mostly. If they came from near Pleaides then they probably were. The Taurids are not usually very bright and there peak is predicted to be from Nov 4th-7th but last into December.
The Orionids duration just ended last night but I saw a meteor that came from its radiant and it was long and bright. I didn't see any Orionids on ther peak day of the 21st. but it was a short observing time.
I'll have to check for the Taurids tonight in between scope time.
