The cranium could still expand (after birth) but it's the humans that most likely won't let that happen. Already, asean children have at a very young age something done to their jaw to avoid later dental problems. Both phenomenon are linked.
This could also be an indication about what we'll do (or won't do) about an adaptation in space or on another world.
