They have this score card thing going on and feel pressure not to lose face.
The problem is with any robotic space mission there's nobody out there to fix minor problems. So sure they have failure all the time. The student built SSETI Express microsatellite seems dead. I hope they will not be to discourage and will build a better one next time.
