Heard on the local evening news -- therefore, paraphrased from memory:

She said she'll use it as a "teaching moment", and point out that, unlike evolution, ID is not a scientific theory.

I suspect she will not be the only secondary-level biology teacher in Kansas who will take advantage of the new curriculum in that way, and I'm heartened by it.
